Following on from last year’s monochromatic Air Max Plus pack, Samuel Ross’ A-COLD-WALL* has returned with another rendition to kick off 2024. This collaboration with Nike embraces an industrial aesthetic with a paint-splattered finish.
The latest silhouette, revealed on A-COLD-WALL*’s Instagram, ditches the ultra-clean look from the previous launch and embraces a heavily pre-worn makeup. The black base is adorned with a washed white paint, giving the shoe an almost cement-coated appearance.
As expected with shoes that have a pre-worn aesthetic, the pair has received mixed reviews. Some compare the silhouette to tradesmen’s trainers, with one comment saying, “I’ve seen plasterers with these on.”
