Here at Fortress Entertainment, particularly at Sneaker Fortress, we are always exploring the possibilities of unique design. One intriguing idea that we have pondered is what would happen if we inverted the stunning colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Fearless.” Our design team is always ready to dive into creative opportunities, and they have brought this concept to life with the CLOT x Air Jordan 1 Mid “Fearless Inversed.”
This concept design is inspired by the 2019 CLOT x Air Jordan 1 Mid “Fearless.” As part of the Fearless Ones collection, this collaboration revitalized the iconic silhouette of Michael Jordan’s first shoe, honoring its influence and legacy.
In our interpretation, we have inverted the color palette of the original design. Instead of the striking white “Royale Silk” upper with black accents, we have introduced a mesmerizing pitch black. Despite the darker hue, the gorgeous silk pattern of the CLOT “Silk Royale” material remains visible.
The design features white embroidered Swoosh logos on the mid-panel and a tonal Wings logo on the collar flaps, creating a striking contrast against the black silk upper. We have also added coordinated white laces to further enhance the elegance and sophistication of the shoe.
An important traditional detail that we have retained is the Chinese coin attached to the laces, which not only adds visual interest but also serves as a branding element, with the inscription translating to “Jordan.”
The yin and yang concept is complete with an off-white rubber midsole, complemented by a bold red outsole. This authentic replication of the original outsole design pays homage to the original, as we believe there is no need to tamper with perfection.
While we have great respect for the original CLOT design, we believe that adding the “Fearless Inversed” edition to our collection would be a fantastic addition. In fact, wearing these two designs as a distinctive mismatched duo could create a perfect yin and yang balance.
At this stage, the CLOT x Air Jordan 1 Mid “Fearless Inversed” remains a concept. However, we are keeping a close eye on the possibility of turning this exciting idea into a tangible reality. Of course, acquiring another pair of CLOT sneakers will be crucial for bringing this design to life. In the meantime, stay tuned for more custom sneaker creations and exciting concept prospects from us.
