December is a month of joyful celebrations, and in the sneaker world, it’s the perfect time for exciting collaborations. Adidas is known for its partnerships, and this year, they’re teaming up once again with the beloved Dr. Seuss character, The Grinch. After a successful collaboration in 2022, adidas is back with three new variations of The Grinch x adidas Forum Low just in time for the holiday season.
The collection kicks off with a stunning women’s exclusive sneaker in Bliss Pink. This new iteration carries over the design elements from its predecessor, featuring charming Grinch-themed accessories hanging from the laces. The Oat colorway is another addition to the lineup, showcasing the same intricate construction and familiar Grinch accents. However, the showstopper of this collection is the leather-based Grinch sneaker. It beautifully combines cream, red, and green hues, paying homage to the mischievous yet lovable character. The unmistakable image of The Grinch is elegantly placed on the tongue tag, and his enlarged heart from the story is symbolically represented on the lace dubrae. The shaggy green suede, resembling The Grinch’s fur, gracefully covers the tongue, vamp, and collar, completing the design.
The Grinch x adidas Forum Low Collection will be available in December 2023 through adidas and select retailers, both online and in-store. The adult sizes will retail for $130, while the kids’ pairs will be priced at $100.
