One of the rising stars in sneaker collaborations, HAL Studios, continues to impress sneakerheads with their remarkable designs. After a recent partnership with Asics on the Gel-Lyte III series, HAL Studios now sets its sights on adidas. This time, they are taking on the Velosamba, a bike-friendly variant of the iconic Samba silhouette.
The upcoming HAL Studios x adidas Velosamba features a design that exudes understated elegance. It is adorned in black leather and suede, with creamy hues beautifully contrasting the tumbled leather eyestays, vamp, and the iconic Three Stripes. The attention to detail is evident in the additional stitching on the Three Stripes, adding a touch of sophistication. The sneaker also incorporates a toggle lacing system, departing from traditional laces and giving it a contemporary edge. Both HAL Studios and adidas co-branding can be found on the lateral heel, showcasing their collaboration.
Completing the design is the reliable Samba midsole, paired with the Velosamba’s unique outsole. This outsole features an opening designed to latch onto bike pedals, providing added traction and performance for cyclists.
The HAL Studios x adidas Velosamba is set to release in November 2023 exclusively via Hal Studios online. Pricing information has yet to be announced.
