Founded in Spring 2019 by Shane O’Neill, April Skateboards is a relatively young skate team that has made significant strides in the past four years. With a roster that includes industry veterans like Guy Mariano and up-and-coming stars like Rayssa Leal, April Skateboards has gained a strong following and reputation.
Their upcoming collaboration with Nike SB Dunk Low is highly anticipated and expected to bring even more attention to the team. For this project, April Skateboards has combined elements of old and new school, putting their own spin on the beloved silhouette. The sneaker features a mix of suede, mesh, and leather on the uppers, with vibrant blue overlays that add a pop of color. Silver-finished aglets, profile swooshes, and co-branding on the spines further enhance the design. The sneaker also pays homage to April Skateboard’s home, with the fourth month etched onto the lateral heel.
The Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration will be released on November 13th, 2023. Fans can expect an icy finish on the outsoles, which complements the top-half of the sneaker and reveals rich blue details. A promotional video showcasing the sneaker has already been released, building excitement for its launch.
In other sneaker news, the Air Jordan 11 “Gratitude” is set to release in early December, offering another highly anticipated release for sneaker enthusiasts.
