Just when you thought the Nike SB Dunk hype was slowing down, it seems the Swoosh brand might just be getting started. Taking a trip down under, Nike SB has tapped none other than April Skateboards to deliver a brand new take on the SB Dunk, bearing similarities to the Diamond Supply Co “Tiffany” SB Dunk Low from 2005.
Headed up by legendary skateboarder Shane O’Neil, April Skateboards is a board and apparel company hailing from Shane’s home country, Australia. Continuing its celebration of global skateboarding, Nike SB and April Skateboards have come together to produce a fresh rendition of everyone’s favourite skate silhouette, the SB Dunk Low.
This latest interpretation arrives with an aged suede and mesh upper, delivering an almost retro-like feel. Suede sections boast a turquoise colour similar to that of the famed Tiffany Blue, whilst the mesh and leather display a clean white hue. Across the lateral walls, a metallic silver Swoosh can be seen, delivering a luxurious appearance. Finally, an “April” imprint can be seen towards the heel.
As it stands, there is no official release date just yet for the April Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low, so make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest news! In other footwear news, MSCHF brings another moment of madness with its BWD shoe.
