Initially released exclusively at Foot Locker, the Air Max Plus gained popularity for its gradient upper, embodying the vibrant colors of the sky. Although it made its last major appearance in 2018, fans have been eagerly anticipating the return of the OG. According to Brendan Dunne of Complex, the highly sought-after OG Sunset colorway is set to make a comeback in Fall 2024.
The Nike Air Max Plus Sunset is revered for its meticulously detailed mesh upper. Adorned with a gradient orange pattern that gradually intensifies, this design perfectly captures the transformative beauty of a setting sun. TPU overlays provide both dimension and durability, enhancing the shoe’s overall aesthetic in a contrasting black shade. This black hue extends to the mudguard and heel overlay, creating an elegant backdrop for the deeper orange Swoosh on the midfoot. A touch of yellow adds vibrancy to the heel tab, featuring the iconic Tuned Air branding.
