Introducing the Nike Kobe 8 Protro Fall 2024 Collection! After a period of scarcity, the Nike Kobe line is making a comeback with a bang. With the Mambacita and Halo lines set to release annually, Nike is also dropping various other colorways in between. And let me tell you, the additions to the Fall 2024 collection are already causing a stir.
As part of this collection, Nike Basketball is treating us to five new Nike Kobe 8 Protro colorways. Two of these colorways are inspired by the iconic Los Angeles Lakers. The Home iteration features a clean white design with accents of purple and gold, capturing the essence of the Lakers’ home court. On the other hand, the Away iteration is dressed in black with gold, purple, and white detailing, paying homage to the team’s away games.
In addition to the Lakers-themed pairs, there are three basic colorways that add versatility to the collection. The Wolf Grey, University Red, and College Navy iterations are like Team Bank (TB) versions, featuring a solid base color highlighted by white detailing. These colorways are perfect for those who prefer a more understated yet stylish look.
What sets the Nike Kobe 8 Protro apart from its predecessors is the upgraded cushioning. Instead of the classic Lunarlon midsole, the Protro editions feature a drop-in React cushioned midsole, providing a modern-day upgrade in terms of comfort and performance.
Excitingly, all five colorways of the Nike Kobe 8 Protro Fall 2024 Collection will be available in men’s sizing. Prices for the men’s pairs will be set at $190. In addition to this, the Lakers Away edition will also come in gradeschool and preschool sizing, priced at $120 and $90 respectively. The Wolf Grey and University Red pairs will also be available in gradeschool sizing for $120.
