Clarks Originals, the well-known footwear giant, is making a strong statement in the British music industry with its latest collaboration. After teaming up with Kurupt FM during the summer, they have now partnered with R&B and Soul icon, Jorja Smith, to bring a fresh interpretation of their Desert Nomad Silhouette.
Jorja Smith, who hails from Walsall, has achieved global success and is now looking to accompany the release of her new album, “falling or flying,” with this limited edition shoe collaboration.
Although this latest silhouette bears the Desert Nomad name, it can be argued that it is something entirely new. The shoe features an innovative design with the entire rear removed, falling into the mule category popularized by brands like Birkenstock and Suicoke.
The Jorja Smith x Clarks Originals Desert Nomad showcases a sleek monochromatic finish, with deep black suede covering the uppers. The shoe is highlighted by Jorja Smith and Clarks branding on the fobs. Underneath, a black crepe sole provides stability and comfort, complemented by a speckled lace at the forefront to bring everything together.
Fans can expect the release of the Jorja Smith x Clarks Originals Desert Nomad on the 21st of October. Don’t forget to set a release reminder to ensure you have the best chance of getting your hands on a pair.
