A micro-trend is emerging in the world of sneakers, and it’s making an unexpected appearance on a New Balance silhouette. Hairy animal prints have been gaining popularity among lifestyle and street fashion enthusiasts. We’ve seen the Air Footscape Woven come back with a cream/brown cow pattern, and leopard patterns on the Wales Bonner Samba. Now, New Balance is joining in on the trend by applying pony hair material to their current lifestyle hiker-based sneaker, the 610.
The upper of the 610 features a classic dairy cattle look, with black spotting on white cow fur. A cream white suede overlay and logo are placed on top. The black extends to the sole, while touches of brown can be seen on the underfoot support and ankle collar, possibly referencing brown cows or even a saddle.
This exciting release is set to drop on November 17th, 2023, with a price tag of $140. You can see the official images below.
