In 2024, PlayStation celebrates its 30th anniversary with a special collaboration with PUMA to release a fresh sneaker collection inspired by the iconic gaming brand’s history. The partnership includes four unique designs, two in the Puma Suede style and two in the RS-X model, all featuring the distinct PlayStation controller symbols woven into the design.
The Puma Suede “Grey” model pays homage to the PlayStation console with subtle debossed controller buttons on the grey suede fabric. The inner lining and quarter panel overlays in deep black, along with the classic PlayStation logo on the tongue and a unique hangtag, complete the look. The semi-translucent sole transitions from blue to grey, showcasing the controller buttons beneath.
The PlayStation x Puma Suede “Black” features a predominantly black design with touches of grey, highlighting the PlayStation emblem on the tongue and a hangtag. The translucent sole transitions from black to blue, revealing the controller symbols beneath.
The RS-X models in the collection offer a more adventurous colour palette. The RS-X “Grey” features a gradient design transitioning from light grey to blue, with the controller symbols as stylistic cut-outs near the mudguard. The semi-transparent sole unit showcases the symbols in a bold display.
The PlayStation x Puma Collection is set to release in 2024 with sizes available for the whole family, allowing fans to join in the 30th-anniversary celebrations.
