This year, Nike has brought back one of their most iconic basketball shoes, the Air Flight Huarache. The high-top silhouette, famously associated with the Fab Five, has been released in various OG and contemporary versions throughout the year. Now, for the holiday season, the shoe is returning in a “Lyon Blue” colorway.
The “Lyon Blue” Air Flight Huarache features a simple two-toned color blocking design. It joins the “Varsity Purple” colorway as one of the few retro offerings released so far. The shoe is constructed with neoprene and has a black nubuck upper. The dark color extends to the ankle straps and outsole, while vibrant blue accents can be found on the mid-foot, sock liner, and branded heel counter.
Fans of the Air Flight Huarache can expect the “Black/Lyon Blue” colorway to release this holiday season with a retail price of $125. Official images of the shoe can be seen below.
