Nike Golf is bringing back the classic Air Max 1 ’86 OG Golf Royal in its original colorway. Alongside the release of the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 OG Big Bubble in sneaker form, Nike Golf has put their own twist on the debut Air Max for 2023.
Previously, we have seen a number of golf-ready colorways released, such as the Obsidian and the Ryder’s/Solheim Cup Pack. Now, tying in with Air Max Day 2024, Nike is bringing back the Air Max 1 ’86 OG Royal in sneaker form, as well as the Air Max 1 ’86 OG Golf in this original colorway.
The Nike Air Max 1 ’86 OG Golf Royal features the classic white, hyper royal, pure platinum, and black colorway. The sneaker is made up of white mesh underlays paired with neutral grey suede overlays for a clean and classic look. Hyper Royal accents can be seen on the Swoosh, top plastic eyelets, insoles, mudguard, and branding on the tongue tag and back heel. The Big Bubble comes into play in the heel of the white midsole. The sneaker is completed with a modified golf-ready, tri-color, solid rubber outsole, making it suitable for both on and off the green.
The Nike Air Max 1 ’86 OG Golf Royal is set to release on March 27, 2024 through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. The sneaker will be available in men’s sizing and will retail for $160.
