The Nike Air Max 1 continues to make waves in 2024 with a range of exciting releases. Earlier this year, we saw the drop of popular colorways such as White Black, Team Red, and Smokey Mauve, and there are plenty more to come. In the near future, expect the arrival of Playful Pink, ’86 OG Royal, Olympic, and a Chili Volt iteration. As sneaker enthusiasts eagerly await these new releases from Nike, let’s take a closer look at the upcoming Platinum Tint Dark Obsidian colorway.
The Nike Air Max 1 Platinum Tint Dark Obsidian features a classic colorblocking design. The upper base is predominantly white, with a combination of suede overlays and mesh underlays. Platinum Tint accents can be found on the suede mudguard and the Nike Air branding on the insoles and back heel. Dark Obsidian adds contrast to the shoe, appearing on the suede Swoosh, top plastic eyelets, branding on the tongue tag, and insoles. The iconic AM1 midsole maintains its traditional white color, housing a visible Max Air unit in obsidian in the heel. To complete the look, the solid rubber outsole comes in obsidian with a white stripe across the ball of the foot.
The Nike Air Max 1 Platinum Tint Dark Obsidian is set to release on February 1, 2024, both online and in select retailers.
