The Nike Air Max 1 is set to be a highlight of the upcoming 2024 celebration of visible Air technology. This iconic design by Tinker Hatfield from 1987 has undergone various transformations over the past year. While some versions have paid homage to the original silhouette, others have embraced its second life as a lifestyle sneaker. The Air Max 1 PRM (Premium) is a prime example of this, featuring an elevated construction that moves the design away from its performance roots.
As winter approaches, Nike has released a luxurious new color scheme for the Air Max 1 PRM. The sneaker showcases a combination of “White” mesh, “Pearl White” leather panels, and “Vast Grey” fabric overlays. A rich “Cedar” hue adds depth and character to the miniature swoosh, inner-lining, Air Max bubble, and sections of the outsole. The off-white midsole helps accentuate the other components of the shoe, making them stand out even more.
Currently, there is no official launch information available on Nike’s website, but that is expected to change soon. In the meantime, the Air Max 1 PRM can be found at select shops overseas. The retail price for these premium sneakers is $160 USD.
