Nike Dunk Low “Year of the Dragon” 2024 Kids’ Collection

November 9, 2023

Nike‘s “Year of the Dragon” collection is bringing the zodiac figure to some of the brand’s iconic designs, including the Dunk Low. Although the official collection hasn’t been unveiled yet, official images of several pairs have surfaced. One of these is the Nike Dunk Low “Year of the Dragon,” which offers a different look compared to previous styles for the event. This particular design is made for kids and features a muted grayscale color scheme with traditional leather uppers. The unique feature of this design is the velcro swoosh with a vibrant-colored dragon wrapped around Nike‘s check logo, symbolizing the fusion of Eastern and Western elements.

Unlike other Nike Sportswear and Basketball offerings, the Dunk Low “Year of the Dragon” keeps its decorations minimal. The branding on the tongue, spine, and sockliners is simple, without the whimsical cloud graphics and rich colors seen on other designs like the Ja 1 “Year of the Dragon”. Additionally, this kid’s release does not have a special lace dubrae. Instead, the velcro swoosh makes the biggest statement and may also be featured on other Nike Sportswear options.

Detailed photos of the Big Kids’ pair can be enjoyed ahead of its release on nike.com before the end of January 2024. The retail price for this pair is $100 USD.
