With Valentine’s Day approaching, Nike SB is getting ready to release a special edition sneaker to celebrate the occasion. Following a Burgundy version, they will be releasing a Light Bone rendition as part of the City of Love pack.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Valentine’s Day City of Love Light Bone features a muted and delicate color palette, perfectly capturing the spirit of Valentine’s Day while maintaining its versatility. The shoe is constructed using different materials, including a satin base, soft suede, and textured tumbled leather overlays, all evoking a sense of romance. The tonal laces match the hue of the sockliner, bringing a sense of cohesiveness to the silhouette. One notable detail is the red string interwoven into the Nike SB branding on the tongue, symbolizing the red thread of fate. The insole also follows this theme, featuring a hand graphic with a red string attached to the pinky finger, representing a connection with one’s soulmate. The design is completed with a white midsole adorned with red stitching and a matching white rubber outsole.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Valentine’s Day City of Love Light Bone is set to release in February 2024 through selected Nike SB retailers and possibly online via Nike SNKRS. It will be available in men’s sizing, with a retail price of $125.
