Nike has been releasing a series of color palettes for their 2000s runners, and the latest addition is the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 in “University Blue”. Unlike previous releases that featured white accents and varying colors, this new composition sticks exclusively to the light blue shade.
The low-top mesh dominant silhouette of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 follows a similar concept as the “Triple-Black” version that debuted in September. The whole shoe is immersed in the spring-ready light blue color, from the TPU caging at the mid-foot and heel to the sole unit, leather overlays, and mesh base layer. Every textile and panel on the shoe is coated in the “University Blue” tint, except for the greyscale Bill Bowerman logos on the insole. Additionally, reflective 3M detailing is concealed until it encounters the right lighting conditions.
While we await further release details on the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “University Blue”, let’s take a closer look at its design. The shoe showcases a monochromatic fervor that exudes a clean and fresh vibe, perfect for the upcoming spring season.
In other news from Nike, the Kobe 6 “Reverse Grinch” is set to arrive on December 15th. Stay tuned for more updates and release information on these exciting Nike footwear releases.
