Foam-based slides have had their moment under the sun, and even though their popularity might be wavering, some brands, like Nike, continue to innovate and create noteworthy designs. With a vast assortment of footwear under its wing, Nike hasn’t shied away from experimenting with the Calm Slide, which we’ve seen undergo various updates like the Calm Mule. While fans are eager for the upcoming University Red and Smokey Mauve colorways, we’ve got first looks at another newcomer – the Barely Rose.
The Barely Rose version of the Nike Calm Slide is all about simplicity and elegance. Its foam construction ensures maximum comfort, while the soft pink hue lends it a touch of subtlety and sophistication. Branding details are kept to a minimum with Nike Swoosh logos featured on the lateral forefoot strap and another etched onto the grooved footbed. This design, not just functional but also fashionable, stands out further with its rubber outsole, inspired by the Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit.
The Nike Calm Slide Barely Rose W will release in Spring 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizes, these slides will retail for $50.
