Patta, the renowned streetwear and sneaker boutique in Amsterdam, is known for its impactful collaborations. The latest partnership is with New Balance, and it promises to be another significant chapter in their ongoing collaboration history. The Patta x New Balance 991v2 Made in UK is set to release, following Stone Island’s version of the model and the debut of general release colorways for this new iteration in the 99X series.
The collaboration between Patta and New Balance is a testament to both brands’ commitment to quality and style. The sneaker features a striking combination of silver-grey and burgundy, with a focus on luxurious pigskin suede in burgundy. Brown accents add depth and contrast to the design, appearing on the toebox overlays, collar areas, and heel sections.
The sneaker is further enhanced with volt accents on the lace set and parts of the dual-tone midsole, seamlessly blending white and grey. While the exact placement of co-branded details is still unclear, Patta branding can be expected somewhere on the sneaker. The design is completed with a black rubber outsole, incorporating New Balance’s advanced FuelCell cushioning technology for ultimate comfort and performance.
The Patta x New Balance 991v2 Made in UK is scheduled to release on November 17, 2023, via HIP in the UK. However, no official announcement has been made by Patta or New Balance regarding the release. While HIP has priced the sneakers at £145 (approximately $177), prices may vary when released by New Balance and Patta.
