Jeff Green recently caught everyone’s attention when he wore the Chrome Air Jordan 11 sneakers during a game against the Denver Nuggets. The sneakers quickly became a social media sensation, with people discussing their unique design and eye-catching chrome finish. However, we’re here to introduce you to a custom variation of these shoes: the Red Chrome Air Jordan 11 sneakers, which are perfect for any occasion.
If you’re looking for a statement piece for the upcoming winter festivities or New Year’s Eve, or simply want to add another fantastic pair of sneakers to your collection, you can’t go wrong with these. The chrome on these sneakers is so reflective that it could pass as a mirror, making them one of the most impressive chrome sneakers on the market. After being inspired by the original sneaker’s beauty, our talented designer at Fortress of Solitude, Brandon Krige, decided to take it up a notch and add a touch of red to the design.
Starting from the bottom, the outsole of these sneakers features a deep red color that contrasts against the white midsole. The outsole also boasts a stunning cross-hatch-like texture, adding a unique element to the overall design. Unlike the rest of the shoe, which has a smooth and shiny chrome finish, our designer wanted to incorporate some texture into the sole unit.
Moving to the upper section of the shoe, the entire surface is covered in the same stunning chrome finish. The lower section, typically made of patent leather, retains its mirror-like silver chrome on this pair, extending all the way up to the heel and collar. Even the lace stay pieces are made of silver chrome on these sneakers.
Now, here’s where it gets interesting. The upper section, usually made of a more flexible material like mesh or canvas, has been replaced with red chrome. The combination of red chrome and silver chrome on these sneakers creates a one-of-a-kind look that feels festive, magical, and futuristic all at once.
However, it’s important to note that these sneakers are still a concept for now. We’re eagerly waiting for confirmation regarding the pair that Jeff Green wore, whether they are exclusive to players or if they will be available in stores in 2024. Until then, we can only hope and dream about these sneakers and urge our designer to bring our visions to life.
