Nike is putting its focus on its newer Joyride technology, which uses bead-filled cushioning to enhance impact absorption, energy return, and the overall user experience. After releasing some exclusive versions for women and kids, as well as collaborating with ALYX’s Matthew M. Williams, Nike is now introducing the Joyride Dual Run as one of its leading models for 2020.
The latest version of the Joyride Dual Run features a design that pays subtle homage to the original silhouette. The upper mesh is composed of bright whites with various taping in shades of gray. The forefoot embellishments and swoosh’s backings have a metallic finish that opens up at the ends to reveal a laced heel pull. The color palette is predominantly punchy, with bright red accents on the tread and eye stay, and light blue accents on the tongue patch, miniature check, and heel panel.
