The collaboration brings together the iconic shell toe of the adidas Superstar with the beloved Turtle characters. In this first release, Rafael takes center stage with his red mask serving as a lace-lock charm and influencing the Three Stripes branding on the shoe. The design pays tribute to the character’s biological features with hexagon segments on the shell toe, resembling a turtle shell. The upper is constructed with a tumbled olive leather finish, and the shoes come with two pairs of insoles featuring a pizza and turtles on a rooftop design.
The packaging for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x adidas Superstar is reminiscent of an action figure, complete with a special edition comic book. Rafael’s exclusive release hints at potential future collaborations featuring Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Donatello.
