Who doesn’t love a KAWS collaboration? Brian Donnelly (KAWS) and Nike have once again united to reimagine the iconic AF1 silhouette, and this time it’s all for a great cause. Thanks to Dover Street Market, the collaboration aims to benefit Sky High Farm Workwear, an initiative that addresses the food insecurity faced by underprivileged communities.
KAWS’ distinctive touch can be seen in the Air Force 1, which has been transformed through his artistic lens. Alongside the classic “Triple Black” and “Triple White” renditions, the Swoosh on the sides of the shoe now bears a cloud-like finish in a gray hue. This collaboration isn’t just limited to sneakers; it also includes a range of apparel, including a KAWS-designed chore coat and hoodie. The proceeds from these products will support Sky High Farm and its long-term efforts to ensure food security.
Sadly, this collaboration is exclusive to the US market. For those fortunate enough to be based in the US, the project will be available in-store at DSMNY and online via skyhighfarm.org on December 16th.
