In 2006, Jordan Brand paid tribute to its long-standing partnership with Spike Lee by introducing the Jordan Spizike. This unique sneaker combines elements from several iconic Air Jordans that are associated with Spike Lee and his Mars Blackmon persona, including the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 6, and Air Jordan 20. Building on its success, Jordan Brand later released more Spike-inspired fusions like the Jordan Spike Forty and Jordan Son Of Mars.
However, in recent years, the Jordan Spizike has been largely absent from store shelves, with only a few occasional colorways releasing sporadically. But there’s good news for sneaker enthusiasts: for Spring 2024, the Jordan Spizike will be making a comeback in a new low-top version. Sole Retriever confirms that the all-new Jordan Spizike Low will be available in three colorways.
The first colorway is inspired by Chinese New Year, joining the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 2, and Air Jordan 38 as part of the 2024 “CNY” Collection. The other two colorways include one in a classic “Bred” arrangement and another in “Football Blue.” While the exact details regarding color placement and materials remain unknown, Sole Retriever will provide updates as more information becomes available.
The Jordan Spizike Low is set to release in Spring 2024 through Nike, SNKRS, and select Jordan Brand retailers. The “Bred” and “Football Blue” pairs will be available in full-family sizing, with prices set at $160, $125, $80, and $60, respectively. The “CNY” pair will exclusively come in men’s sizes, priced at $170.
