The Air Jordan 1 Low Makes a Comeback in “Star Blue”

December 19, 2023

The Air Jordan 1 Low is constantly being released in new styles, catering to both heritage and modern looks. Recently, the sneaker has been seen in two different ensembles designed for the Year of the Dragon. As we approach 2024, another version of the Air Jordan 1 Low has emerged, drawing inspiration from Far East Asian traditions.

This particular iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Low features a combination of “Phantom,” “Star Blue,” and “Coconut Milk” tones. The upper is constructed with a mix of suede and leather panels, giving the shoe a premium feel. The lower heel of the shoe has a refined look, similar to previous “Vachetta Tan” offerings from Nike. The profile swooshes, however, stand out with their denim “Star Blue” build and ornate contrast stitching, reminiscent of the traditional Japanese practice known as “Sashiko.”

Moving to the sole, the “Special Edition” (SE) AJ1 Low keeps things simple yet classy. An off-white midsole adds a touch of age to the overall design. The iconic radial-patterned outsole features a semi-translucent brown finish that complements the leather details and inner lining.

Official photos of the Air Jordan 1 Low in this refreshing colorway have been released, hinting at an upcoming launch on Nike.com. In other sneaker news, the Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined” is set to release early in 2024.

Stay tuned for more updates on the latest Air Jordan releases and make sure to check out these upcoming sneakers on nike.com.
