Nike Dunk Low CO.JP “Reverse Curry” Returns in Summer 2024
In exciting news for sneaker enthusiasts, the Nike Dunk Low CO.JP “Reverse Curry” is set to make a comeback in Summer 2024. The iconic style, originally part of the “Concept Japan” collection and exclusive to Far East Asia, will now be available to fans worldwide as the iconic design approaches its 40th anniversary.
Although the “Reverse Curry” pair stays true to its original blueprint from 38 years ago, its return holds cultural significance. This release shows that Nike is paying attention to its consumer base and addressing the long-standing requests from fans of the once Japan-exclusive Nike Dunk for an authentic reissue. The 25th anniversary of the drop will mark the occasion for the first-ever retro release.
The low-top silhouette features a combination of “Dark Curry” and “White” tones throughout the upper and sole unit, just like the 1999 version. The darker hue covers the toe box, mid-foot panels, and upper heel underlays, while the leather panels have a “colorless” arrangement. The radial-patterned traction on the outsole maintains the “Dark Curry” color, while the midsoles keep a clean and simple appearance, allowing the upper and outsole’s details to shine.
Official photos of the Nike Dunk Low CO.JP “Reverse Curry” have been released, building anticipation for its upcoming release. Sneakerheads can expect to find them on Nike SNKRS by August 2024, with a retail price of $125 USD.
