Now let’s talk about the shoes. The Nike Dunk Low is already looking ahead to Valentine’s Day 2024. Nike Sportswear is leading the charge by incorporating Peter Moore’s iconic silhouette from 1985, as well as Bruce Kilgore’s Air Force 1 from three years prior. The whole Nike conglomerate is expected to participate in this Valentine’s Day capsule.
The Nike Dunk for Big Kids and Little Kids features a familiar color palette and material execution. Soft fabrics cover the sneakers, giving them a playful feel while also evoking the stuffed animals and hearts associated with the romantic holiday. The profile swoosh and Achilles’ Heel overlays deviate in a hairy material and hue, contrasting with the rich red surroundings in stark white. The spine of the sneakers features the “Nike” text accompanied by a special tag that reads “To: You ♥: ✔.”
These Valentine’s Day-themed sneakers also include festive heart emblems on the top of the tongue, replacing the traditional branding. The kids’ sizing comes with two-tone colored sole units, completing the love-centered ensemble. The shoes also come with on-theme stickers, including a clever “Solemates” one that serves as another message from the Swoosh to its customers.
You can enjoy official photos of the Nike Dunk “Valentine’s Day 2024” and expect them to launch on nike.com in February 2024. The pricing for the kids’ “Valentine’s Day” Dunks ranges from $75 to $100 USD.
