Fans of the popular PlayStation game Spider-Man 2 are eagerly anticipating the release of the sequel. In celebration of the game’s launch, adidas has collaborated with the franchise to create a collection of Spider-Man themed sneakers. The collaboration includes the Ultra 4D and Ultraboost J sneakers, as well as an Adizero 12.0 football cleat. This is not the first time adidas has teamed up with Marvel and Insomniac games, as they previously released a Spider-Man inspired version of their Superstar model. The new Spider-Man 2 x adidas sneakers pay homage to both Peter Parker and Venom, with intricate designs that reflect the characters. The sneakers feature red, black, and white color schemes, as well as iconic spider logos and webbing details. The Adidas stripes are present in contrasting white, and there are dark tendrils that represent Venom creeping up the sneakers. The shoes also have a chunky black 4D midsole and rubber outsole, capturing the dark essence of the symbiote. The Spider-Man 2 x adidas collection will be available on October 20th, with a retail price of $220 USD.
