The Year of the Dragon is a highly anticipated event in the Chinese Zodiac, occurring only every 12 years. Nike, in celebration of the upcoming Year of the Dragon, is revisiting their Nike KD 4 silhouette from over a decade ago. This new release, known as the Nike KD 4 “Year of the Dragon 2.0,” takes a different approach compared to its predecessor.
Unlike the cool-toned original version from 2012, the Nike KD 4 “Year of the Dragon 2.0” features a predominantly cream and off-white color scheme. Brown accents can be found on the branding, raised embroidery, and the pattern underneath the strap’s bright red Swoosh. Notably, a dragon motif is displayed on the heel, intertwining over and under the slightly oversized check.
For an early glimpse of the Nike KD 4 “Year of the Dragon 2.0,” check out the images provided. This special edition sneaker is expected to be available on Nike SNKRS and possibly select retailers in February 2024, aligning with the Year of the Dragon.
